Classes & Exercise :
You may wish to attend ante natal classes before the birth of your baby. Your local hospital will be able to provide you with details of classes.
In addition there are a number of other classes which focus on childbirth techniques or health and fitness in pregnancy to strengthen the body in preparation for the birth.
For example you may wish to consider aquanatal classes, prenatal yoga or pilates, or perhaps gentle exercises at home (especially pelvic floor exercises). Do take the advice of your health professional to ensure it is safe for you to undertake exercise before commencing any exercise regime.
