This month we bring you our top 10 useful keyboard shortcuts that can be used in Word documents. we hope you find them as useful as we do at My Local Guide!
Ctrl + X - Cuts the selected text
Ctrl + C - Copies the selected text
Ctrl+V - Pastes the copied text where you place the cursor
Shift + F3
- Toggles through capitalization options.
Ctrl + Shift + N - Applies the Normal style.
Ctrl + Shift + C - Copies the formatting of selected text.
And, unlike the Format Painter option, this shortcut remembers what you copied until you close Word.
Ctrl + Shift + V - Pastes the formatting (copied using Ctrl + Shift+C) onto a new selection.
F4 - Repeats your most recent action on document text: typing: formatting, deleting. It will also let you repeat the action of adding or removing table rows, but it doesn't work well with tables overall. E.g. You can't repeat a change of table properties using this shortcut.
Ctrl+Z - Undo - undoes the last action.
Ctrl + F Opens the "Find" tab so you can locate something in a document.
