The Athena Network launches in the Hills District
The Athena Network offers businesswomen a local community in which they can create connections and build a network. It also offers access to business & personal development where members enjoy the benefits of shared knowledge and experience with the ultimate aim “to have women in business prosper”.
At the heart of the membership package is the monthly lunch - a motivating, inspiring and energetic meeting focused on providing an intention and structure that will have you and your business flourish.
The Athena Network has built a reputation as the UK’s premier business networking organisation for women and is now establishing an international network that offers local communities to connect across the world.
Monthly lunches will commence in various locations in the Hills District from April 2010.

Independent Business Network Incorporated (IBNInc)
IBN Inc. is a network group designed to meet the needs of small businesses with less than five employees. It differs from other networks in that the group becomes your "think tank" for business decisions, problem solving, marketing and sales strategies. This distinct approach has attracted the attention of the Hills Shire Council Economic Development Team who financially support this "Not for Profit" group so the only cost to members is morning tea.
Referrals are a positive side effect of the group, not the mainstay as it is with other groups. It is about helping each other and in return helping your own business succeed. Being a member means marketing activities such as the Hills Homeshow and Lifestyle Expo at the Bernie Mullane complex are at last within financial reach of the small business owner with costs being shared but exposure ensured.
If you are interested in becoming part of this unique group who meets on the third Thursday of the month at the Council Chambers contact Julie Warner on 8850 4908, view our website: www.independentbusinessnetworkinc.com.
