• JUMP UP There is a good international site devoted to starting a small business called Jump Up. Check it out at http://jumpup.intuit.com/

• About.com - Small Business provide a website with many useful articles for small business. Whilst it is based in the US, most of the information is also relevant to Australian small businesses. There are great tips in articles on sales and marketing etc. You can subscribe to the free newsletter which tells you all the new articles when they are posted.

• Smart Company.com.au website provides up to date business news and a daily newsletter for subscribers. Includes a great business start up section and many more interesting articles and sections for business owners in Australia.

• Sensis Small Business Offers information and a useful FREE copy of Sensis' Small Business, Big Opportunity marketing and advertising guide. There have been stock issues in the past, but you can download a copy of the book from this site (use http://smallbusiness.sensis.com.au/The-Guide.html). Also provides free templates for agency briefings, media planning schedules and various other tools.
