About Freecycle
- The Freecycle NetworkT is made up of 4,558 groups with 5,524,000 members across the globe.
- It's an entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns.
- It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills.
- Each local group is moderated by a local volunteer.
- Membership is free.
- Everything posted must be free, legal and appropriate for all ages.
- To sign up, find your community by going to the Freecycle website www.freecycle.org and entering your area into the search box or click on "Browse Groups" above the search box.
Sydney North West Freecycle Group
- Sydney North West Freecycle Group is the local Freecycle group covering Blacktown and the western Hills District covered by My Local Guide .
- The Sydney North West Freecycle(TM) Network is open to all who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Nonprofit groups are also welcome to participate too!
